Who we are

We are Purdue Fort Wayne Muslim Student Association (MSA), a student organization devoted to expand the thinking horizons of all its member in an Islamic fashion. By creating a positive foundation for students to learn about Islam and positively educate the public about Islamic culture, we can bring Muslims and non-Muslims together harmoniously. By emulating the values of Islam to the student body, we impact their understanding of Islam and Muslims as they know it. By providing support and memorable moments through our gatherings, we create positive mutuality, and, an awesome student organization!

Informative and Awareness Gatherings

To share words of wisdom and raise awareness on topics that reflect the values of this organization. Be it bringing in local Imams to give Islamic reminders, shedding light on topics relevant to young Muslim students, or raising awareness on ethnic minorities across the globe. It is our duty as Muslims to build on knowledge and awareness, and we are here to provide these opportunities through our informative events.

Social Gatherings

Potlucks, bingo, trivia, wheel of fortune. Whatever it may be, we value togetherness and forming new bonds. Being together is an essential aspect of Islam, for many reasons! In a diverse campus like Purdue Fort Wayne, we as Muslims want to make a presence to make PFW a better place. Muslim students are not our only audience. We warmly invite and receive students from many backgrounds, and that is the beauty of MSA. The inclusivity paired with the fun times spent together brings unity, and that is what Islam values wholeheartedly.
